Lazer Sports Impresses Pedal Magazine

Cycling: 102nd Tour de France / Stage 4

Lazer Sports’ innovative creations and adventurous designers enchanted Christopher Balogh of Pedal Magazine. Read his full story in Pedal’s Winter 2015 issue.

Excerpts from Pedal Magazine:

“Lazer Sport has seen tremendous growth, and as an industry leader, it is committed to research and innovation.”

“Lazer’s newest innovation for triathlon is a TT helmet with a feature called i-Sensor. Navarra demonstrated the small sensor embedded in the fin of the helmet. The motion sensor is set to the optional aerodynamic head position. When the rider’s position deviates from this ideal position, the sensor beeps. Currently just a prototype, Navarra explained that this feature will soon be ready for testing on athletes.

As Cornelis and Navarra continued to pull out new designs to show me, their infectious laughter and enthusiasm left me really impressed.

Lazer is not a large company, but it is certainly one that pushes out many new innovations. It averages two new helmets a year, among its other designs. The company’s young adventurous energy really shines through with products such as the Magnetis eyewear, which attaches to helmet straps with magnets that can be stowed away in a docking station at the back of the helmet.”
