Overall trends in the industry included 650b wheels and tires, plus size wheels and tires, 1×11 drivetrains, and dropper seat posts.
In suspension, Rock Shox dominated with both the Pike and Reba forks, while the Monarch rear shock along with Cane Creek DB Air and DB Inline were well represented also.
Stan’s No Tubes popped up many times in the wheelset and rim categories, with the ZTR Arch EX, ZTR Flow EX, and ZTR Crest getting named as favourites. WTB’s Frequency i25 rims also got some love along with the DT Swiss 240S hub.
No surprise that WTB cleaned up in the saddle results, with the Volt taking the win, alongside the Pure V, Rocket V, and Speed V.
In the seatpost category, droppers dominated with the Rock Shox Reverb coming out a clear winner. Kind Shock’s LEV and Thomson’s Elite Dropper (and Elite) were also named in the top five.
In cockpit components and accessories, Thomson Elite stem still dominates, and popular grips included ODI’s Rogue and Troy Lee, and Lizard Skins Lock-on.
Crank Brothers got lots of love, with their Candy, Egg Beater, and Mallet all named in the top five pedals.
On the accessories side, Topeak Joe Blow floor pump was a clear winner, while Endura clothing took the number four place in most popular apparel brands.
