Topeak-Ergon dominates at the Leadville 100 setting record sub-6 hour time

The Topeak-Ergon mountain bike team had great success this past weekend at the legendary Leadville Trail 100 MTB, Colorado’s famous 100-mile marathon cross-country mountain bike race.

Topeak-Ergon Racing Team’s Alban Lakata (Austria) won the race in a record time of 5:58:35h, while teammates Kristian Hynek (Czech Republic) was second, and Jeremiah Bishop (USA) was fourth. Sally Bigham (Great Britain) was second in the women’s competition.

The grueling racecourse starts and finishes in downtown Leadville, and includes approx. 3,400m of climbing. Get a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the team’s preparation for the race on this multimedia site!
