From the editor: Is your shop social?

As an independent bicycle dealer, you’re the hub of your cycling community (forgive the pun).  That can include sponsoring local teams and events, group rides, or simply being a local meeting place and hangout for customers to talk shop and learn about the latest and greatest in bicycle gear.

Customers are drawn to their IBD for best in class customer service and product knowledge, and increasingly, they are also looking to find that same experience on the web via social media.

While it can be time consuming to harness your shop – and staff members’ – status as influencers, social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter can help to market your business and grow your customer base.

LTP is taking some of the heavy lifting off your shop’s plate: follow our Facebook and Twitter accounts to get access to timely and exciting content about our 100+ distributed brands.  It doesn’t get any easier to find relevant, shareable content for your customers!
