In the mountain bike tire world, there’s a constant battle between weight, grip, and durability. Just like the saying in the business world ‘it can be fast, good, or cheap.’ – you can generally only pick two.

Enter the WTB Vigilante All Mountain Tire, where they’ve balanced great traction, rolling resistance, and a long lasting compound. A sort of tire trifecta.

Available in all three wheel sizes at 2.3” wide, casings include the standard Dual DNA and Gravity DNA (Team Issue), and feature WTB’s Tubeless Compatible System.

Bike Rumor tested the Vigilantes long term and had this to say:

“Due to superb traction, stiff sidewalls, and mid pack rolling resistance, the WTB Vigilante tire has found itself a treasured home in our tire farm. On bikes with 5″+ of travel, it offers a great balance between performance and wear life. Heavier riders in rocky terrain who are looking for the utmost in reliability might want to consider the burlier sidewalls and sticker compound of the Team Edition tire, but everyone else should find something to love about the base level TCS version.” – Bikerumor.com
