Kinetic Road Machine trainer a “great choice”—outsideonline.com

Outside Magazine takes the Kinetic Road Machine by Kurt bike trainer for a test ride

Adventure magazine Outside thinks that “…for the money, you won’t find a better, more reliable trainer” than the Kinetic by Kurt Road Machine.

Kinetic Road Master bike trainer in Outside Magazine

In the outsideonline.com  and newstand versions of the reviews, reviewer Aaron Gulley compared the Road Machine against indoor cycle trainers by Wahoo Fitness and ProForm… and rated it a great choice for “apartment dwellers”:

“The ideal choice for the space constrained, this rear-wheel-mount trainer is quick to set up, sturdy and stable to ride, and easy to collapse and stow. And though the unit is small, the heavy-duty flywheel and fluid-resistance system create a smooth, realistic ride that’s quieter than with fan or magnetic trainers. Silicone fluid ramps up pressure based on your output, so the harder you push, the more resistance you get…”

Road Machine also in DC Rainmaker

The Kinetic Road Machine also caught the eye—and ears—of cycle blogger and reviewer DC Rainmaker. Not only did he deem the trainer’s InRide technology (available separately)  “spot on” in a December 2012 review, but he compared bicycle trainer noise in a video and found the Road Machine to be one of the quietest in its class.
