After decades of listening to our customers, 9 out of 10 just want something that is easy to read and simple to use. The most important functions to them are speed, distance, and ride time. Until now, this meant basic, entry level, kids/beginner computers. But the typical SIGMA customer is over 35 years of age, has a career, loves riding a bike, and is looking for a good quality product.
We started with the design. The PURE 1 is without question the nicest looking bicycle computer SIGMA has ever made. It is super thin and slim and looks like a mini smart phone or tablet. The display is as close to edge to edge as technology permits to allow for the largest and easiest to read numbers ever found on a bicycle computer.
Then we focused on ease of use. On the supersized display, you’ll see the 3 most important cycling functions all at the same time: speed, distance, and ride time. There’s a single button that when pressed switches between current values and total values. After the ride, press the button for 3 seconds to reset your data. That’s it!
Lastly, we wanted to make it faster to go from the box to the bike. User set up on the PURE 1 is a cinch! Select your wheel size from the list of pre-programmed wheel sizes and choose either MPH or KMH. Done!
