Red Dot Design Award in Germany has announced that three Topeak products have earned Red Dot Design Awards for 2016, a recognition of their overall high design quality. In total 5,214 products from 57 countries were entered in the design competition this year.
These three Topeak products are:
Ninja Series Tools (Ninja C, Ninja P, and Ninja TC Mountain)
The Ninja Series Tools is a three part tool series that are compact, stealthy, and cleverly efficient preserving aesthetics and aerodynamics. The Ninja P bike pump is hidden in your seatpost, the Ninja C chain tool in your handlebar, and the Ninja TC multi-tool in its water bottle cage integrated toolbox.
JoeBlow TM Booster
The JoeBlowTM Booster pump just made it easier to install tubeless tires. Acting like a compressor, this pump stores an air charge of one liter up to 160psi / 11bar to quickly fill your tires and insure the proper installation on a tubeless rim.
Nano TorqBar DX
Finally, the Nano TorqBar DX is the smallest torque wrench on the market by Topeak. Two bits can be carried in the handle of the Nano TorqBar DX so you can leave the rest at home, making you ready to torque anything on the go.
The Red Dot Product Design jury consists of 41 experts from all around the world including freelance designers, design professors and journalists. The independent expert panel assesses each entry strictly and fairly, according to criteria such as degree of innovation, formal quality, functionality and ecological compatibility.
“With their performances, the Red Dot winners not only demonstrated an extraordinary design quality, but they also showed that design is an integral part of innovative product solutions,” said Dr. Peter Zec, founder and president of the Red Dot Award.
