The TwoTimer and FourTimer are Yakima’s new hitch-mount bicycle racks that easily fit any normal two-wheeled bikes, including kids’, mid-fat and fat bikes – regardless of suspension or frame design.
Dirt Rag tests the TwoTimer in Issue 188, where tester Eric McKeegan concludes, “I’ve been tremendously happy with this rack. It’s been a relief to never worry about whether any bike I grab will fit my rack…well done, Yakima.”
“The wheel trays are the real stars of this rack. The molded shape is wide enough for fat bike tires, but includes a recess for skinny road tires as well. The straps have two slots to adjust for different tires; the “skinnier” setting was good for tires up to 3 inches. For the biggest of fat bike tires (5 inches) a $10 USD* pair of Fat Straps is needed.”
