Sigma’s Topline 2012 bike computers arrive in Canada

2013 models display how much gas you saved, how high you climbed

Sigma’s new Topline 2012 bike computers are in stock this month. The German-engineered 5.12, 8.12, 12.12, 14.12, and 16.12 models are designed to be affordable and useful for any cyclist: car-free commuter, mountain-climbing traveller, or data-gathering road enthusiast. All five models display speed, time, and distance for the cyclist who wants to obey the speed limit, arrive at work on time, and measure their mileage. But this year, Sigma threw in some extras.

Sigma Topline 2012 12.12 bike computer on cyclist cycling past gas station

The Sigma 12.12 bike computer indicates how many litres of gas you saved by riding a bicycle.

All Sigmas, including the easy 5.12, have full-text display, single-button operation, and auto-scan mode. They also tell you when your bike is due for a tune-up. The 12.12 calculates how many litres of gas you’ve saved by cycling. The 14.12 tells you how long and high that thigh-burning hill was. On the 16.12, you can switch from your 700c commute bike to your weekend MTB—it recognizes the wheel size change and saves your data for each bike. For long spins and training rides, a wireless 16.12 or 8.12 streamlines your ride. Crave ride data? All wired and wireless Sigma Topline 2012 computers give you the option to connect to a Mac or PC and access the Sigma Data Center online.
