What is the Ride to Conquer Cancer? When and where does it happen in 2013?
The Ride to Conquer Cancer® began as a single pledge-based event in 2008 and has grown across Canada as the largest cycling fund-raising event of the year. It attracts more than 10,000 riders across the country each year, and has raised nearly $150 million in support of cancer research thus far.
In 2013, the Ride to Conquer Cancer will take place in four provinces—British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec—on four weekends in June and July.
This year and past years, Norco Bicycles is an official bicycle and technical support sponsor to the Ride to Conquer Cancer in all four regions. Norco Bicycles event crew attend each ride and provide dawn-to-dusk technical and mechanical support so every participant can do the ride of their lifetime.

- 2 routes between Vancouver, BC and Seattle, Washington
- In support of the BC Cancer Foundation
- In 2012, $11.2 million raised by over 3,000 participants
- Alberta Ride to Conquer Cancer
- June 22-23, 2013
- 2 routes between Calgary and Okotoks
- In support of the Alberta Cancer Foundation; patients and families at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, and 15 cancer centres throughout Alberta.
- In 2012, $8 million raised by over 1,800 participants
- Quebec Ride to Conquer Cancer
- July 6-7, 2013
- 1 route between Montréal and Québec City
- In support of cancer research and care at the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital and throughout Quebec.
