If you ask a local what their favorite epic trail in BC is, Revelstoke\u2019s alpine adventure, Frisby Ridge, is quickly becoming a new go-to.<\/p>\n

The 12km purpose-built singletrack trail provides spectacular views of the Monashees, meadows of stunning alpine wildflowers, and a fast, flowy descent that will get you grinning from ear to ear. Built and maintained by the Revelstoke Cycling Association<\/a>, the trail is the crown jewel of Revy\u2019s trail network!<\/p>\n

“Whether, you\u2019re a beginner rider or an expert, you\u2019ll love the smooth, swoopy switchbacks and gorgeous alpine views on the Frisby Ridge Trail.<\/p>\n

The trail climbs gradually but is never so steep that you run out of gears and can\u2019t chat with your riding companions. The views of the surrounding mountains, and the flowy ribbon of trail in front of you may take your breath away though!<\/p>\n

We had a picturesque lunch on the lake at the end of the trail before putting on our jackets and heading downhill. With a bit of rain in the air, it was a bit chilly, but we had huge smiles on our mud speckled faces the whole way back to the parking lot.<\/p>\n

We took a shuttle to the start of the trail since our Volkswagen Golf wouldn\u2019t have made it up the rough road, and it was some of the best money we\u2019ve ever spent.<\/p>\n

In addition to the super fun ride out from the trail, we got to do the Frisbee Ridge Downhill trail, a more technical trail that spit us out at the bottom of the gravel access road. A must-do if you\u2019re in Revelstoke!\u201d \u2013 Sarah M., Marketing Supervisor<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Trail Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frisby Ridge is an out and back trail that climbs from a cutblock up through very impressive mountain hemlock sub-alpine forest and into the alpine meadows, cresting on a rolling ridge with views in all directions.<\/p>\n

You reach the high point at the 10 km mark after climbing 700 meters then the trail dips down for another 2 km, with stunning mountain views, to a small lake. A great spot for some lunch before you head back up and out. \u2013 bikerevelstoke.org<\/p>\n
