Last Saturday, Pete Jacobs executed a clinically brilliant race to become the sixth Aussie in a row to win the Ironman World Championship Triathlon, the 2012 Kona Ironman in Hawaii. Pete has gone one better than last year’s result where he truly announced his challenge to the title. This year he claimed that title in fantastic style.<\/p>\n
Already the benchmark runner in Ironman and a strong swimmer, Pete has been working hard on his bike racing all year, to make sure he was in the best position possible after the bike. In fact, Henk Vogels, one of Australia’s best ever time trial specialists and now respected coach, has been working with Pete to improve his performance on the bike. The results are now clear to see.<\/p>\n
Another advantage that Pete Jacobs could rely upon was of course the market leading Lazer Tardiz helmet.
