UK rider talks to Mountain Biking UK about his new bike’s specs<\/h1>\n

\"PageOlly Wilkins<\/a> is one of the UK\u2019s smoothest dirt jumpers. Now, after riding for DMR Bikes <\/a>for years, he\u2019s designed his dream bike. Available in Canada in June 2013<\/strong>, the Sect line\u2014frame, stem, seat, and grips<\/a>\u2014reveals Wilkins’s obsession with weight and dirt.<\/p>\n

MBUK asked Wilkins to describe his ride:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a bit of a weight-obsessive, I guess. Throughout the new Sect range we had strict weight targets that we stuck to religiously. I think you can go too light though. My bike is down to 23lb<\/strong> (10.4kg), but I won\u2019t be using Ti bolts just yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI run an X-fusion Velvet fork with a super-stiff tapered steerer. I like my fork to move.<\/strong> A lot of dirt jump guys run their fork so hard and with no rebound.
