Yakima’s 2013 update on the Holdup<\/strong> bike carrier continues to baby your bikes. New for 2013<\/strong>, you can fit almost any sized bike wheel into the tray\u2014from 20-inch folding bikes to 29-inch fat tires. Once the bikes are in place, you can adjust their position next to each other so the handlebars don’t tangle. The beefed-up arm grabs and secures a bike by the wheel, not frame,<\/strong> so paint and carbon finishes stay unscratched.<\/p>\n

The 2013 Yakima HoldUp’s arm pivot never touches your frame. New side-to-side adjustability lets you position bikes next to each other so handlebars don’t tangle.<\/p><\/div>\n

Speaking of security,<\/strong> Yakima has integrated the included cable lock into the tubing of the rack. Need a coffee break en route? Pull the cable up from the rack and coil it around your bikes’ frames. The Holdup rack also locks to your 1.25-inch or 2-inch trailer hitch for added security.<\/p>\n
