{"id":13633,"date":"2020-03-25T16:20:22","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T23:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/livetoplaysports.com\/news-press\/?p=13633"},"modified":"2020-03-25T16:20:22","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T23:20:22","slug":"live-play-sports-covid-19-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livetoplaysports.com\/news-press\/2020\/03\/live-play-sports-covid-19-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Live to Play Sports COVID-19 Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Live to Play Sports (LTP) is making the health and safety of our global community, staff, and their families our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re not public health professionals \u2013 we make and distribute products that make outdoors-time fun \u2013 so we\u2019re acting on the advice of local and international experts and making LTP, and the work we do during this crisis, safer for everyone.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employees are being encouraged to work from home where possible.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the safety of warehouse and other employees whose jobs can\u2019t be done from home, we are increasing the frequency and thoroughness of cleaning and sanitizing protocols in our buildings, and temporarily eliminating access to shared-use facilities.<\/li>\n<li>We have suspended all staff travel and visitors to our facilities.<\/li>\n<li>We have paused all public and industry events until mid-June.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>LTP remains open to meet the needs of our customers. We\u2019re committed to delivering on purchases made at your local dealer and providing the level of customer care you need.<\/p>\n<p>Because bicycles are an essential means of transport to so many, some areas have deemed bike shops an essential service. If you want your local shop to have the option of staying open during a Shelter in Place order, please contact your local legislator.<\/p>\n<p>We are all very concerned, and our thoughts are with those who are dealing with the virus first-hand, including those who are having difficulty with the anxiety surrounding the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Experts agree that active alone-time outdoors complies with social distancing practices, and that exercise is vital to fending off this virus.
