Live to Play Sports sales reps spend their days travelling between bike shops in their territories, and helping support them in bringing the best products in the bike industry to customers all over North America. While their work isn’t always easy, it does provide the opportunity to ride a bunch of really cool bikes across a wide variety of terrain, often led by locals who know the routes best.<\/p>\n

Reps have plenty of first-hand experience of different riding areas, bike setups, components and gear, and it’s always great to tap into that knowledge when planning a big purchase or adventure.<\/p>\n

Steve Pukesh has been with Norco and LTP Sports for 20 years now, servicing Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland of British Columbia. He’s an avid mountain biker and road rider, and is always happy to join in on a shop ride after work.<\/p>\n

Vancouver Island is known for it’s\u00a0cycling-friendly culture, and for it’s density of bike shops, the bulk of which are located in Victoria, on the Islands southern tip. The riding areas around Victoria are\u00a0understandably well-frequented, meaning that you’re always likely to run into a friend on the trails. Steve’s favorite riding area while he’s in town is Durrance Lake, about 20 minutes from downtown Victoria. The riding here is flowier and smoother than much of the South Island, and makes for great new-school climbing and descending.<\/p>\n
