Etienne Sampson joins the pack in Stage 1 of UCI’s Asia Tour in Vietnam<\/p><\/div>\n

HO CHI MING CITY, Vietnam\u2014\u00c9tienne\u00a0Sampson<\/a>\u00a0of Qu\u00e9bec’s\u00a0Team Norco Bicycles\/Premier Tech<\/a>\u00a0followed two attacks and found himself in the break in Stage 1 of the ADC Tour of Vietnam<\/strong> (part of UCI’s Asia Tour<\/a>). The stage route runs 160 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho City.<\/p>\n

“[Sampson]\u00a0followed the first attacks right after the neutral start and following a few accelerations, it\u2019s gone, he\u2019s in the break!<\/p>\n

“That was a large group of escapees in which all the big teams were represented (Astana, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Hong Kong, etc.). Therefore, everything seemed possible. During the first two hours the break built a good gap, covering almost 100 kilometres (average speed of 48 km\/h for those who are interested)…”<\/p>\n
