L&#8217;Optic est con\u00e7u comme un v\u00e9lo de trail tr\u00e8s efficace. Lors d&#8217;une mont\u00e9e, il suit de pr\u00e8s les adeptes de cross-country, mais ses aptitudes \u00e0 la descente lui permettent de d\u00e9valer une pente avec un peu plus de stabilit\u00e9 et de moyens.<\/p>\n<p>Mon style de conduite est influenc\u00e9 par le v\u00e9lo de gravit\u00e9. Je peux comprendre l&#8217;amateur de mont\u00e9es techniques, mais selon moi, les meilleures sections de parcours sont celles o\u00f9 le v\u00e9lo est point\u00e9 vers le bas. Mon but en montant ce v\u00e9lo \u00e9tait de limiter l&#8217;amplitude du d\u00e9battement (le d\u00e9battement maximal recommand\u00e9 pour l&#8217;Optic est de 140 mm), tout en veillant \u00e0 ce qu&#8217;il soit lat\u00e9ralement rigide. J&#8217;ai eu l&#8217;occasion d&#8217;essayer ces roues dans le pass\u00e9 et c&#8217;\u00e9tait un r\u00e9el bonheur de pouvoir les utiliser pour ce montage. Elles sont incroyablement rigides et se comportent comme la plupart des roues en carbone que j&#8217;ai essay\u00e9es dans le pass\u00e9. Jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le r\u00e9sultat est tr\u00e8s impressionnant. Un porte-pignon pour les trois plus gros pignons est une caract\u00e9ristique de conception bien pens\u00e9e. Le guidon Vibrocore 800 mm de Spank est aussi rigide que le reste des composantes du v\u00e9lo, mais il est assez flexible pour compenser le faible d\u00e9battement auquel je suis habitu\u00e9 avec mon propre v\u00e9lo. J&#8217;attends avec impatience de pouvoir le tester sur les sentiers locaux, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 mes mains sont habituellement \u00e9puis\u00e9es apr\u00e8s une journ\u00e9e enti\u00e8re pass\u00e9e \u00e0 \u00e9viter des trous.<\/p>\n<p>Les p\u00e9dales V-Twin de DMR constituent la derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape dans la transformation de ce v\u00e9lo en v\u00e9ritable b\u00eate de sentier. Ces p\u00e9dales sont super robustes. De plus, on peut y ajouter des picots pour compl\u00e9ter l&#8217;interface compatible au syst\u00e8me automatique SPD.\u00a0J&#8217;ai r\u00e9gl\u00e9 la hauteur des p\u00e9dales afin que mes chaussures puissent se clipser sans probl\u00e8mes.
